Well Hello There, Bookworms.

Well Hello There, Bookworms.

I'm back! Well, sort of...

It has been quite a while, let me tell you. I’ve been pretty much on a complete hiatus from the book community since the end of May. While I really missed this community, the hiatus was totally worth it. I was able to spend a lot of quality time with my now five-month-old son, and two-and-a-half year old daughter when I was on maternity leave. During that time a lot more happened…I ended up also gaining two fur children.

Meet Chase (the sorrel) and Kat (the palomino). Chase had a very bad experience at a trainers and ended up scaring her owner into not wanting her. So, she was given to me. It’s been a long process of getting her back to trusting people. She still has a long way to go. I ended up starting a blog of documenting my progress with her. If you are interested, check it out!

Kat is a boarder and companion to Chase who I am also caring for. With the addition of my son and these two girls, life on my end has been hectic.

Book blogging! While I’m exciting to be back in the book realm, I won’t be posting nearly as much as I used to be able to. I will do my best to provide as many book reviews as possible. This may not allow me time to post more fun and engaging material until I have a little more time on my hands. We’ll see. It’s all up in the air.

That’s it for now! Let me know what you have been up to in the last few months! I’d love to hear from you!

Until next time…

I am the author behind Foals, Fiction & Filigree. An all-encompassing blog about horses, books, and my art.

  1. I’ve been seeing your posts on Facebook, so I’m not entirely disconnected from what’s been going on with you – but I’m so glad to see you post here again 🙂 also, even though I can’t relate to the horse stuff (I have no connection to that world), I am really happy to see you’re exploring that passion in both blogging and real life again 🙂

I’m really happy to be able to catch up with you!
